Voices of Maryland's Healthcare Crisis - Report Release
Healthcare is a Human Right - Maryland
Wednesday, December 10at 4:00pm - 6:00pm- Charm City Clinic2222 Jefferson St, Baltimore, Maryland 21205
We will be hearing from medical and labor officials, powerful testimonies from Marylanders still struggling with medical debt and access, and will demonstrate how Maryland is ready to move forward past the ACA and its flawed approach towards a more equitable, affordable, and higher quality healthcare system based on seeing medical care as a fundamental public good like education and our fire departments instead of a broken and devastating profit-driven industry.

ELECTIONS MATTER-----MAKE SURE MARYLAND ELECTION PROCESS WORKS. WE HAVE FRAUD AND CORRUPTION AND A CORPORATE CAPTURE THAT WE NEED TO SHAKE.
Remember, when I speak of these policies and how they hurt the citizens of Maryland and the Constitutional rights of everyone----these are the pols that keep being re-elected over and over. Mike Miller leads the Senate for over 20 years because the members of the Senate vote him as leader. Do you hear your pols shouting that Mike Miller is the face of this global corporate control of Maryland government and Maryland economy? THAT MEANS THOSE POLS VOTED FOR MIKE MILLER. THEIR SILENCE IS COMPLICITY.
The same goes for Mike Busche----both are allowing corporations to control the state-----move all public revenue to corporate profits----and allow open and systemic fraud and corruption. These leaders appoint pols to these committees and these committees decide what laws come to the floor of the Assembly. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE HEALTH, EDUCATION, JUSTICE LAWS-----LOOK AT THE COMMITTEES AND WHO IS ON THEM. Do not believe a pol has no control-----if they are not educating their constituents like I am----they are working for corporations.
IF POLS REFUSE TO EDUCATE ON ISSUES AND GOALS OF POLICIES----THEY ARE COMPLICIT ----GET RID OF THEM.
The main reason Maryland citizens are in the dark as far as politics and policy in Maryland is the groups that should be educating people on policy are not----
LABOR UNIONS -----JUSTICE ORGANIZATIONS-----POLITICIANS------EDUCATION ADVOCATES.
As you see, the chairs of many of these health committees are Baltimore City pols working for Johns Hopkins. Hammen and Conway are front and center for all this policy. Conway was challenged this election but by yet another Hopkins pol that would have been worse. Bill Ferguson and Tarrant are the worst of corporate pols doing whatever they are told.
WE DO NOT HAVE LEADERS IN OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS IF ALL THEY DO IS FOLLOW ORDERS FROM CORPORATIONS.

We are tired of hearing from Baltimore City Hall that the City Council pols have no power----the Mayor has the power. We want all the City Council people organizing the city to petition to referendum a change in Baltimore City charter that gives the right of Baltimore citizens to have referendums and with that a referendum to change the city charter taking away the powers of Mayor and giving it back to the council.
All of these pols know the goals of education and health policy as they do all Baltimore policy and they know it is very, very, very bad for Baltimore citizens.
GET RID OF THESE POLS BY RUNNING AND VOTING FOR LABOR AND JUSTICE IN ALL PRIMARIES!
