Multi-culturalism used during 1960s civil rights had a REAL left social progressive goal of making economic space for our new immigrants to create their own local economies. We did not want to erase those cultural stances, we wanted to provide EQUAL PROTECTION, OPPORTUNITY AND ACCESS for those immigrant families to grow inside our greater white European US society. This is why we have as the video we shared yesterday by a US black FB friend a Chinatown, Little Italy, Little Vietnam, Little Cambodia, and Latino communities. Some may think it is racism/red-lining and often it is. The difference between red-lining due to racism and a REAL left social progressive stance on multi-culturalism is that installation of EQUAL PROTECTION EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND ACCESS to economic development in these communities. The far-right wing global 1% use PATRONAGE to make sure these economies never have lasting control of wealth.

Guo Wengui, the maverick Chinese billionaire who threatens to crash Xi's party
The Trump-like real estate mogul promises to disrupt the showpiece party congress in Beijing with new revelations about the country’s ‘mafioso elite’
He paints himself as the Che Guevara of Chinese crony capitalism, a billionaire insurgent vowing to bring down the system from the comfort of his $68m New York home.
“My only goal is to change China,” Guo Wengui, an eccentric and exiled Chinese property magnate, declared earlier this month on the eve of a key political convention in Beijing that he is promising to disrupt with electrifying revelations of skulduggery at the pinnacle of Chinese power.
This Wednesday the curtains go up on the 19th Communist party congress – a week-long eruption of socialist pomp and circumstance marking the end of Xi Jinping’s first term as China’s commander-in-chief.
As more than 2,200 delegates flock to the capital for this intensely choreographed display of political theatre, Guo, who also uses the name Miles Kwok, is by far the most unusual figure threatening to rain on Xi’s parade.
For months, the flamboyant real estate mogul has been disgorging reams of salacious – and largely unsubstantiated – allegations into the public sphere about some of his homeland’s most powerful figures. “They are just a tiny group of mafiosos, pure and simple,” Guo said during one of his most recent assaults on China’s house of cards.
Now, with the congress about to commence, Guo claims he has more up his sleeve: “This,” he tweeted ominously on Saturday, “is only the beginning!”
Roderick MacFarquhar, a China expert at Harvard University, said it was impossible to predict whether the billionaire would succeed in crashing Xi’s party: “The wild card is what Mr Guo has been spewing out in New York ... He has promised to release his stuff as they are meeting in Beijing – and we will see.”
Recent weeks have seen this well-connected globe-trotter – who is a member of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club and has shared private jets with Tony Blair – attempt to recast himself as a selfless freedom fighter battling “to expose the leviathan Chinese mafia state”. “No one can withstand our pursuit of democracy, freedom and the rule of law,” he boasted on Twitter this week.
Writing in the Washington Times last month, Guo claimed China had become “the most corrupt, tyrannical and brutal state on earth, bar North Korea”. Only he – and his American hosts – could save it from “tyranny and barbarism”.
But Guo, an international man of mystery whose very age remains shrouded in secrecy (depending on who you believe he was born in 1967 or 1970), is an unlikely and – to many unconvincing – advocate for democratic change.
He made his fortune as a politically savvy developer, whose reputed contacts with top party officials helped him wangle a string of lucrative projects. By 2014 Guo was China’s 74th richest person, worth some £1.77bn according to a ranking of its top movers and shakers.
Last week Guo – now mired in legal disputes and with many of his assets frozen – slipped off that ranking of China’s super rich. But one of Beijing’s most unusual skyscrapers – the dragon-shaped Pangu Plaza – stands as a permanent monument to his success and, many suspect, his intimate and potentially explosive knowledge of the notoriously corrupt intersection between Chinese business and power.
“You don’t get to have .... a building on Beijing’s central access without being deep in the mud in China,” said Bill Bishop, the Washington-based publisher of the Sinocism newsletter about Chinese politics. “Clearly over the years he has picked up stuff and Beijing is clearly worried about what he may know.”
According to his telling, Guo fled to the US in 2014 after discovering he was to be detained as part of Xi’s war on corruption, and later set up camp in a luxurious 18th floor apartment in Manhattan’s Sherry-Netherland hotel overlooking Central Park.
It is from this not-so-humble 16,000 sq ft abode – whose furnishings reportedly include crystal chandeliers, Louis XVI furniture, and a Lego model of London Bridge – that Guo has launched his emoji-riddled online crusade against Communist party corruption. In webcasts, newspaper interviews and tweets to his 449,000 followers Guo has lambasted the party’s finagling while simultaneously flaunting his own wealth and pulling power. (This month he has tweeted photos of guests including Steve Bannon and the New York Times’ Pulitzer-winning columnist, Nicholas Kristof).
His prime target has been Wang Qishan, Xi’s anti-corruption czar, whose family he accuses of having a secret stake in HNA, a $53bn Chinese conglomerate known for its deal-making prowess.
Beijing has not taken kindly to Guo’s incendiary, if largely unproven, claims. State media has denounced him as a “dirty trickster” peddling “political slander” and accused him of paying millions of pounds in bribes to a former intelligence chief. An Interpol “red notice” for his arrest was issued in April, at Beijing’s behest.
Meanwhile the hyperbole-prone mogul claims he has suffered “multiple kidnap and assassination attempts, unprecedented in the last 100 years of Chinese history” while in the US. Last month he asked for asylum claiming his safety was at risk because of his status as “a political opponent of the Chinese regime”.
Bishop said the anti-Guo campaign suggested some in Beijing saw his mud-slinging as a genuine threat: “He’s lucky Xi Jinping doesn’t seem to have the proclivities of, say, the Russian president in terms of dealing with dissidents.”
There is concern, too, among US dissidents who believe Guo has hijacked their cause in a bid to save his own skin.
Wen Yunchao, a New York based campaigner, said Guo’s attempts to pose as an activist – which many suspect is a ploy to help him secure asylum – were an outrage: “As a businessman Guo colluded with the government. Every penny he has earned is dripping with blood.”
“Guo is no human rights champion ... he is doing what he is doing simply for his own sake and for the sake of his family, his friends and his property. That’s all,” Wen added.
Bishop said some dissidents had latched on to Guo as a potential patron and figurehead: “These people have dedicated their lives to fighting the Communist party and Guo is the biggest potential weapon they have had in a very long time.”
“[But] the idea that he is somehow a symbol of human rights work activism or pro-democracy is, I think, quite unfortunate and unfair to the folk who actually are human rights campaigners ... This is all about Guo and his family and getting his money.”
Guo did not respond to interview requests but in a recent conversation with the Wall Street Journal he said he had no plans to shut up. “Nothing can stop me,” he vowed.
In a podcast about the tycoon’s life and times, Mike Forsythe, a New York Times journalist who has spearheaded coverage of Guo, painted him as a charming if “Trumpish” storyteller whose motivations and future were hard to fathom: “We’ve never seen a tweeting, narcissistic Chinese billionaire before – so it’s kind of new territory.”

We shared this video yesterday because it states what our US black citizens gaining wealth SHOULD HAVE DONE in building black community and economic freedom for 99% of US black citizens. Instead global 1% identified BLACK PLAYERS working to be a black 1%---and most were tied to CIVIL RIGHTS ERA MARCHING WITH MARTIN LUTHER KING. Now, we know MLK was a BLACK BOULE having a goal of allowing only a 10% of US black citizens to gain wealth while that BOULE became very rich. Since MLK was assassinated we do not know if he would have been a PLAYER FOR GLOBAL BANKING----or may have actually been a leader for 99% of black citizens. One clue as to his being a 5% PLAYER------the Southern Baptist was filling with FREEMASONS AND GREEKS and they pushed for ACCLIMATION OF BLACK INTO WHITE ECONOMIES.
This was the fight in black America in 1960s as an MALCOLM X pushed for separate but equal wanting to build that separate US black economy. Malcolm X was assassinated by some say a FARRAKHAN who is simply another GLOBAL 1% FREEMASON----this time MUSLIM.
We see these 'LEADERS' coming from the same places---Boston/NYC and for our US black 99% this is what keeps our US citizens from attaining freedom, liberty, justice, and equal opportunity. Whether MLK or Farrakhan------if that leader is a FREEMASON/GREEK they are working for the same global 1% killing 99% of that population group. Same is now happening to US white 99% of citizens as MOVING FORWARD has goals of bringing 99% of white US citizens down as well.
'Louis Farrakhan Sr. (born Louis Eugene Walcott; May 11, 1933, and formerly known as Louis X) is an American religious leader, African-American activist, and social commentator. He is the leader of the religious group Nation of Islam (NOI) and served as the minister of major mosques in Boston and Harlem, and was appointed by the longtime NOI leader, Elijah Muhammad, as the National Representative of the Nation of Islam'.
If we look at pages tied to POWERFUL BLACK STORIES-----SOME MAKING GOOD POINTS----IF WE LOOK WITH WHAT HERU G DUENAS is tied we see those same FREEMASON SYMBOLS amid all this talk of black empowerment, family, community, and building stable economies for 99% of black citizens----
This is why we saw NATION OF ISLAM tied tightly to OBAMA -----even as OBAMA was killing all the wealth and US Constitutional rights built over several decades for civil rights and liberties for 99% of black citizens.
Martin Luther King, Jr: Fighting for Equal Rights in America
Although slavery in the United States ended in the late 19th century, institutionalized racism continued to oppress African Americans even decades later. By the mid-20th century, blacks were still forced to use separate public utilities and schools from the superior ones reserved for whites; they suffered routine discrimination in employment and housing, as well as abuse and lynching from some whites, and they were unable to fully exercise their right to vote.
For decades, civil rights activists had been fighting these laws and social customs to secure equality for all Americans. These activists had won some significant victories; among the most notable was the 1954 Supreme Court decision Brown v. Board of Education, which held that state laws requiring black students and white students to attend different schools were unconstitutional. However, these victories could not dismantle the systemic racism that plagued the country. It was in this environment, seeing the possibility of an America where black and white citizens were truly equal, that Martin Luther King, Jr. joined in the fight for civil rights for black Americans.
Goals & Objectives
A Baptist minister by training, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. sought to raise the public consciousness of racism, to end racial discrimination and segregation in the United States. While his goal was racial equality, King plotted out a series of smaller objectives that involved local grassroots campaigns for equal rights for African Americans. In 1955, King became involved in his first major civil rights campaign in Montgomery, Alabama, where buses were racially segregated.
It was there that Rosa Parks, an African American woman, refused to vacate her seat in the middle of the bus so that a white man could sit in her place. She was arrested for her civil disobedience. Parks' arrest, a coordinated tactic meant to spark a grassroots movement, succeeded in catalyzing the Montgomery bus boycott. Parks was chosen by King as the face for his campaign because of Parks' good standing with the community, her employment and her marital status. Earlier in 1955, Claudette Colvin, a 15-year old African American girl, had been arrested for the same crime; however, King and his civil rights compatriots did not feel that she would serve as an effective face for their civil rights campaign. Rosa Parks helped contribute to the image that King wanted to show the world, a crucial tactic in his local campaigns.
With Parks in jail as a victim of Montgomery's racism, King was able to develop an effective response to her arrest that involved the entire community. King mobilized Montgomery's African American community to boycott the city's public transportation, demanding equal rights for all citizens on public transportation there. After a year-long boycott, a United States District Court ruling in Browder v. Gayle banned racial segregation on all Montgomery public buses. In many ways, the Montgomery bus boycott kicked off a national struggle to eliminate racial discrimination, with King leading the way.
The success of the Montgomery campaign led Dr. King and fellow African American civil rights activists to form the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) in 1957, whose mission was to harness the moral authority and organizing power of black churches to conduct non-violent protests for civil rights reform. With King as its leader, the SCLC's initial focus was to lead localized campaigns of desegregation in Southern cities like Albany, Georgia; Birmingham, Alabama; and St. Augustine, Florida that mirrored the Montgomery campaign. In each of the cities, King and thousands of SCLC activists worked towards specific goals: ending segregation in just one area, such as diners, buses, schools, or shops. Despite the asymmetrically more powerful police and local government officials who had institutionalized policies of segregation for years, King's nonviolent tactics of civic activism forced the issue of segregation onto the national agenda.
By drawing nation-wide attention to segregation, King became a core organizer, one of the "Big Six", of the famous 1963 March on Washington, which demanded political and economic justice for all Americans. It was a public opportunity for King and his cohorts to place their concerns and grievances before the nation's capital, as expressed by King in his renowned "I Have a Dream" speech. The March on Washington not only led to the passage of significant civil rights legislation, but it also allowed King to advocate for other human rights causes like poverty and workers' rights.
Born in 1929, King grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, a city plagued by racial segregation. King benefited from both a secular and religious education, receiving a PhD in systematic theology from Boston University in 1955. Shortly after he began his career as a pastor in 1954 at the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama, the Montgomery civil rights campaign thrust King into the epicenter of the civil rights movement.
After successfully ending the laws that upheld segregation in Montgomery's public transportation system, King sought to create an umbrella organization to tackle the issue of segregation in other communities. In early 1957, King invited more than 60 African American church leaders to a series of meetings to discuss additional desegregation campaigns, out of which came the SCLC. Leading the SCLC until his assassination in 1968, King utilized the national organization to lead local and national campaigns to end systematic racism across the United States.
The SCLC differed from other civil rights groups like the NAACP (the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), in that it was established as an umbrella organization of affiliated churches and community organizations and therefore did not recruit individuals into forming local chapters. As such, the approach of King and the SCLC allowed a much broader range of African Americans to become involved in the civil rights struggle through boycotts, sit-ins, and other peaceful protests.
King often played a leadership role as the public "face" of civil rights campaigns, and as such, he was careful to maintain a public image that would be acceptable to America's white majority. Diametrically opposed to the militant and divisive image that Malcolm X, the public face of The Nation of Islam, portrayed to the world, King carefully cultivated his image so that people thought of him as a moderate, not as a radical extremist. In many ways his moderate image enabled him to actively recruit a critical mass of white Americans to join the movement; King not only embodied the hopes and dreams of African Americans, but also those of white progressives across the country. He also worked to put a united face on the civil rights movement, serving as a bridge-builder between different activist groups at a time when Americans were increasingly interested in ideas of liberation and equality. He was never seen as fully belonging to any of the various factions that threatened to split the civil rights movement, and was particularly effective behind the scenes in bringing together black leaders who otherwise would have been unwilling to work together.
As a civic leader and human rights defender, King drew heavily upon the writings and actions of Gandhi for inspiration. King felt such a strong connection to Gandhi that he visited India in 1959; the trip, according to King, deeply affected his understanding of civil resistance. King explained, "Since being in India, I am more convinced than ever before that the method of nonviolent resistance is the most potent weapon available to oppressed people in their struggle for justice and human dignity." King was so dedicated to Gandhi's nonviolent tactics of civil resistance that he surrounded himself with civil rights activists like Bayard Rustin, who had studied Gandhi's teachings, so that they could incorporate his teachings into King's activism.
King and his fellow civil rights fighters faced enormous and often brutal opposition from local officials and police forces in Southern cities, civil rights opponents, and white supremacist groups like the Ku Klux Klan. Civil rights protestors were frequently arrested and jailed; King was arrested 30 times for his civil rights activities. Police forces in many Southern cities did not hesitate to use violence against protestors, and some Alabama police forces even collaborated with the Klan to allow vicious mob attacks on Freedom Riders, the first African Americans to exercise the rights they had gained with respect to the public transporation system in the South. Meanwhile, the Klan bombed the homes of civil rights activists including King himself and assassinated activists such as Medgar Evers. However, these brutal actions actually galvanized support for the civil rights movement, as they attracted increased national publicity and mobilized whites who had previously been indifferent to the plight of African Americans.
In addition to the threat of these groups, King was under constant surveillance by FBI agents who were interested in his ties to Communists. Because King was a charismatic leader with an ability to mobilize African Americans, the FBI viewed King as a threat to the status quo and attempted to blackmail him by threatening to reveal his alleged extramarital affairs. King, however, did not yield to these attempts to damage his credibility.
Although many state governments were hostile to the civil rights movement, the civic environment of the United States was nonetheless favorable for the movement in many ways. Post-slavery amendments to the American Constitution provided a legal basis for equality that had not yet been realized in practice, and the democratic nature of American society gave King and his followers some measure of freedom of association. While unsympathetic media outlets in the South had little interest in giving King a platform on which to spread his ideas, the national media was largely sympathetic to his goals.
Message and Audience
From the launch of his first civil rights campaign in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955, King emphasized the importance of equality among all races, whether on a bus in Alabama, a restaurant in Georgia, or a voting booth in Mississippi. Moreover, regardless of the issue or the place, King strove to deliver that message utilizing methods of non-violent civic activism that included city-wide economic boycotts, sit-ins, speeches, and public marches. In addition to tactics of mass mobilization, King used his tremendous charisma and skills as an orator to combat segregation; his "I Have a Dream" speech during the 1963 March on Washington is revered as one of the most powerful speeches in American history.
King expertly tailored his message according to its intended audience. As an ally in the Evangelical movement for social justice put it, "He could, in turn, be raucous, smooth, erudite, eloquent, vulgar, and even salacious [without being] a chameleon or a hypocrite." One of King's many biographers, Jonathan Rieder, remarked that King "had an uncommon ability to glide in and out of black, white, and other idioms and identities in an elaborate dance of empathy. Straddling audiences, he blurred not just the lines between them but their very meaning."
In Montgomery, developing a response to the unlawful imprisonment of Rosa Parks, King helped to lead a citywide boycott of public transportation. African Americans refused to use public transport until city officials agreed to change the rules to make them less humiliating. The boycotters' demands were modest and did not even include desegregation. They asked for courteous treatment on buses; the hiring of black bus drivers to service bus routes predominantly used by black passengers; and seating on a first-come, first-served basis with whites in the front and blacks in the back of the bus.
The boycott received strong support from the black community, and since they made up the majority of public transport users, the boycott had a noticeable effect on revenues. The boycotters endured fines, arrests, and even physical attacks, but on November 13th, 1956, the Supreme Court finally ruled that racial segregation laws for buses were unconstitutional. In just over a year, the Montgomery Bus Boycott was ended.
Eight years later, in March 1963, King and the SCLC launched a campaign to end segregation in Birmingham, Alabama, where they hoped to replicate the results of Montgomery. Instead of focusing on a specific issue like public transportation, King wanted to put an end to economic policies in Birmingham that promoted segregation and discriminatory practices against African Americans. Knowing that this would require more intense civic action, King organized the Birmingham campaign to be more aggressive than previous ones. In what became known as "Project C", with the C standing for Confrontation, King and his cohorts of civic activists launched economic boycotts against businesses who refused to hire people of all races and desegregate their facilities, and began a series of marches through the city and peaceful sit-ins at libraries and restaurants that he knew would provoke the arrest of civil rights activists. Explaining his strategy, King said, "The purpose of…direct action is to create a situation so crisis-packed that it will inevitably open the door to negotiation."
In response to the protests, Birmingham police not only arrested large numbers of nonviolent activists, but they attacked many others using clubs, dogs, and high-pressure water jets. King, who was arrested during the initial stages of Project C, used his time in jail to write his famous "Letter from Birmingham Jail," in which he argued that true civil rights could not be achieved without nonviolent direct actions of civil disobedience. King wrote that "injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," and made the case that "one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws." The letter, which was later published in many magazines and books, still serves as one of the best examples of civic activist writing in American history. The letter, alongside Project C, led to significant gains in Birmingham by the end of Spring 1963; many of the discriminatory practices in Birmingham were abolished, and the city became notably less segregated.
In the months after the end of the Birmingham campaign, King became intimately involved in the organization of the historic August 28, 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. The organizers intended to highlight the status of African Americans in the South; however, in order to give the march a more widely accepted audience, it was organized under the auspices of civil rights, labor, and religious organizations. In expanding its message beyond the scope of African American civil rights to universal labor issues, the march took on a life of its own, culminating in the gathering of a quarter of a million people in front of the Lincoln Memorial for King's keynote address. Drawing inspiration from both the Bible and the United States Declaration of Independence, King outlined his hopes for racial harmony and the prospect of equality in the United States: "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.' Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksand of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children."
King's speech was met with great applause and admiration from the march's attendees, as well as from Americans throughout the country. The success of this speech and the march as a whole led to the passage of significant civil rights legislation; the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the National Voting Rights Act of 1965 legally ended segregation throughout the country. While the passage of civil rights legislation brought King's dream much closer to reality, there was still much work to be done at the community level in terms of implementation, and King spent the next three years working tirelessly towards that goal.
For his tremendous efforts in working towards desegregation, King was awarded the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize and named Time Magazine's Man of the Year in both 1963 and 1964, while posthumously receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2004, having a national American holiday, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, named after him, and receiving a myriad of other prestigious national and international awards.
By carefully shaping his message and image, King was able to win support from a number of organizations within the United States that might otherwise not have supported him. King often used points of cultural reference that would be well-known to his audience, whether white or black, secular or religious. To the American Jewish Congress, for example, King proclaimed, "My people were brought to America in chains. Your people were driven here to escape the chains fashioned for them in Europe. Our unity is born of a common struggle for centuries, not only to rid ourselves of bondage, but to make oppression of any people by others an impossibility."
At times, however, King chose to compromise in order to win the support that he needed. King played a key role in changing the tone of the March on Washington in order to make it less stridently critical of the government. The March had originally been conceived as a condemnation of the federal government's failure to address the needs and concerns of African Americans, but at the request of President John F. Kennedy, King persuaded the other organizers to take a less aggressive approach. This change in tone inspired criticism from some civil rights such as Malcolm X, who dismissed the event as a "Farce on Washington," but it improved relations between activists and the federal government and led to concrete change quickly.
On April 4, 1968, King was assassinated as he stood on the balcony of his hotel room in Memphis, Tennessee, while on a trip advocating for black sanitary workers' rights. His death led to panic and riots across the country, but did not derail the civil rights movement from fighting for the equality of African Americans. In the decades since his assassination, activists have continued to work to end racial discrimination in the United States. Their work built upon King's remarkable legacy: a largely nonviolent movement which, despite impassioned and often brutal opposition, tore down discriminatory laws to help create a country true to its ideals of equality and justice.

Keisha Lance Bottoms sworn in as the new Mayor of Atlanta
10:46 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 Metro Atlanta Update 3:25 p.m.:
In her first remarks as Atlanta’s 60th mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms made commitments to fight homelessness, make City Hall more transparent and to create a senior-level staff position on education.
Her speech, which lasted about 35 minutes, included many of the promises she made on the campaign trail, such as supporting the arts community, boosting transit and working with state government to keep Atlanta moving forward.
A big policy initiative announced focused on investing $1 billion in housing affordability, though no details were offered. Bottoms said more information would be available in the coming months.
In more lighthearted moments, Bottoms thanked her family for believing in her when only those in her kitchen thought she could win and said she was just the beginning of women ascending to top positions in the state of Georgia.
“I also know we will do very well next year with a woman governor,” she said. At least two women are competing for the state’s highest office -- Democrats Stacy Abrams and Stacey Evans.
In closing, Bottoms said Georgia’s capital is the only city that could have made her dream come true.
“Only in Atlanta could a girl named Keisha, who attended Frederick Douglass High School on the west side, grow up to become the 60th mayor of the great city of Atlanta,” she said.
Update: 2:50 p.m.: Keisha Lance Bottoms is the new mayor of Atlanta.
The city’s 60th mayor was sworn in at an inauguration ceremony before a packed crowd at the Martin Luther King International Chapel at Morehouse College on Tuesday.
Update 2:35 p.m. Former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young is speaking prior to the auguration of Keisha Lance Bottoms, the city’s 60th mayor.
Young said when he came to the city former Mayor William Hartsfield lost his job as Atlanta’s top leader because he pushed for Delta Air Lines to relocate here, bought land for Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and added lights on Peachtree Street. All of those ideas were unpopular at the time.
Every mayor since then has faced good times and bad, including outgoing Mayor Kasim Reed.
Now, he said, it is time for a new face.
“It took me a while to see it,” Young said, remembering Bottoms as a young girl learning how to swim. “We are putting the city in great hands.”
Update 2:20 p.m.: Felicia Moore sworn in as Atlanta City Council President.
Moore, a longtime member of the organization, was joined by her aunts and a cousin. The trio, Moore said, were standing in for her mother, who could not attend.
Moore pledged that as the city’s second highest officeholder she would work to improve the city’s relationship with the Atlanta Board of Education, provide homes for the homeless and make Atlanta housing affordable and support more transparency at City Hall.
Update 1:58 p.m.: Fulton County Judge Myra Dixon swears in Atlanta municipal court judges.
Atlanta Municipal Court Judge Calvin Graves, in remarks after the swearing, praised Bottoms and Felicia Moore, the incoming City Council President.
“Im so proud that the ladies are in charge,” he said. “I’m so pleased.”
Update 1:32 p.m. Atlanta mayor-elect Keisha Lance Bottoms received a standing ovation when she entered the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College on Tuesday for her inauguration. The inauguration festivities will include recognition of Bottoms as Atlanta’s next mayor as well as members of the Atlanta City Council and Atlanta municipal judges.
Update 1:05 p.m.: Citizens gathering in Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College for the inauguration of Keisha Lance Bottoms as Atlanta’s 60th mayor.
Those in attendance include former Atlanta mayors Sam Massell, Andrew Young and Bill Campbell, Cong. John Lewis, former Memphis Mayor A.C. Warton, and outgoing Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
Original story: Soon-to-be Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms began her inauguration day activities with an interfaith prayer service.
Participants included the Rev. Raphael G. Warnock, senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church; Bishop Sharma D. Lewis, resident bishop of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church; Rabbi Peter Berg of The Temple; and Imam Sulaimaan Hamed, of the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam.
“I know I stand here on the prayers of generations,” Bottoms said as she addressed people gathered at Impact Church in East Point. She talked about her decision to run for mayor at the urging of her husband, who told her that she couldn’t get time back should she pass up this chance.
She promised that she would lead the city with “what is placed in our hearts.”
Tony Taylor, president of Engineering Design Technologies, arrived early to show his support for his candidate.
“We have a chance for what I believe will be a continuation of a lot of great things as it relates to the economic foundation necessary for growth,” he said.
Many of the speakers directly called for the city to come together behind the new mayor.
“We are here today as one Atlanta,” said Impact’s Lead Pastor Olu Brown. He said now was a “season of healing” after an intense election.
We will end this part of the discussion on MORALS AND ETHICS ----FAMILY AND DUTY AND HONOR ----tied to religious public policy declaring RIGHTS OF MAN----HUMAN DIGNITY which drove the ending of slavery in Western nations of Europe and US to discuss acclimation vs multi-culturalism.
We understand that some US citizens believe all Bible is God's word----we understand that some US citizens understand it is composed of voices from early pre-Christian days relating the oral histories of our Christian religion. The Bible has been edited over these few thousand years by KINGS wanting it to justify their public policy stances. So, while the word SLAVE appears occasionally in our Bible-----we know this-------
GOD LED MOSES OUT OF SLAVERY TO BE FREE, FRUITFUL, AND MULTIPLE. THE BIBLE SAYS GOD PERFORMED MIRACLES TO DO THIS.
'The Exodus - Wikipedia
The story begins with the Israelites in slavery in Egypt. Moses leads them out of Egypt and ... led now by their god Yahweh ... The Exodus ends with the death of ...'
We have our Jewish faith saying this occurred because they were CHOSEN BY GOD-----what Christians need to consider as MOVING FORWARD has goals of bringing slavery back to US to enslave 99% of WE THE PEOPLE black, white, and brown citizens ------what is MORAL AND ETHICAL ABOUT SLAVERY? Where is the human rights and dignity our religious philosophy over several centuries made central to Christian tenets?
Whether BUDDHIST, SHINTO, MUSLIM, JEWISH, CATHOLIC, PROTESTANT----the basis of children under a God/gods is each human is a child of that God/god ----OLD WORLD MERCHANTS OF VENICE GLOBAL 1% FREEMASON/GREEKS as FAKE 5% RELIGIOUS LEADERS are the only ones pushing these ideals of Christianity being OK with SLAVERY/enslavement.
There is nothing LEFT ----nothing LEFT SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM about slavery------the only citizens supporting this are global 1% and their 2% and any 5% players they buy.
Slavery and Denominational Schism

"Had the holding of slaves been a moral evil, it cannot be supposed, that the inspired Apostles, who feared not the faces of men, and were ready to lay down their lives in the case of their God, would have tolerated it, for a moment, in the Christian Church. . . . In proving this subject justifiable by Scriptural authority, its morality is also proved; for the Divine Law never sanctions immoral actions."
Richard Furman, pastor of First Baptist Church, Charleston, S.C., made that declaration in an 1822 address to the state legislature. It was among the earliest biblical “defenses” of slavery, a rather extensive collection of books and articles produced prior to the Civil War. Fifteen years later (1837), abolitionist William Lloyd Garrison answered Furman and other pro-slavery writers with these words:
"Our doom as a nation is sealed. . . the day of our probation has ended, and we are not saved. . . . the downfall of the republic seems inevitable. . . . The corruptions of the CHURCH, so called are obviously more deep and incurable than those of the STATE; and therefore the CHURCH, in spite of every precaution and safeguard, is first to be dashed to pieces. . . . The political dismemberment of our Union is ultimately to follow."
In a book entitled Broken Churches, Broken Nation: Denominational Schisms and the Coming of the Civil War, historian C. C. Goen set forth the thesis, echoed by other historians, that “one significant factor in the disuniting of the Unites States . . .was the division of America’s popular churches into sectional factions several years before the political break.” Goen’s work documented the ways in which divisions in the leading Protestant denominations, particularly Baptists, Methodists, and Presbyterians, “exposed the deep moral chasm between North and South,” extending the national alienation and “contributing to the eventual disruption of the Union.” In a sense, the regional splits in American ecclesiastical organizations highlighted ideological and cultural differences that ultimately gave permission for the nation itself to divide.
Later historians, especially in the South, often insisted that the divisions were the result of a broad “sectionalism” that developed between two culturally distinct regions of the country. While diverse sectional distinctions were certainly present, the precipitating issue was clearly slavery. Denominational debates mirrored the political and economic divisions in the broader society with the addition of arguments based in scripture and theology. Formal schisms were a long time coming as nineteenth century church bodies struggled to find appropriate compromises that would support “moderation” and avert institutional breakups. The Methodist General Conference of 1836, for example, officially acknowledged the evils of slavery while at the same time condemning “modern abolitionism.” Both extremes were judged detrimental to Methodism’s collective future. Some sought to avoid the discussion altogether, insisting that slavery was entirely a political and legal matter or that debates over slavery were detrimental to a denomination’s evangelical and benevolent mission.
In 1849, Old School Presbyterians approved a statement that portrayed slavery as a legislative, not a church-related issue. In the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century, many denominational groups passed resolutions that acknowledged the problem of slavery and anticipated its termination at some future time when blacks were “better prepared” for freedom. Others pinned their hopes on such “back to Africa” movements as the American Colonization Society (1816), an ill-fated and unrealistic possibility.
Nonetheless, the call for immediate manumission grew steadily among religious groups. By 1800 southern Quakers and Moravians, influenced by individuals such as Quaker mystic and social critic John Woolman, had freed their slaves and thrown their support to abolitionism. Many were active participants in the Underground Railroad, helping runaway slaves find their way to the “Promised Land” of Canada.
By the 1830s secular and religious spheres were increasingly polarized by developments that included:
1) The invention of the cotton gin and the rise of cotton economy, much of it built on slave labor;
2) a growing fear of slave insurrection illustrated by revolts led by Denmark Vesey (1822) and Nat Turner (1831);
3) the rise of Abolitionism, represented in the founding of The Liberator by William Lloyd Garrison in 1831;
4) and the extensive publication of elaborate biblical “defenses” of slavery linking cultural practice to biblical authority.
Arguments over biblical interpretations led defenders of slavery not only to Pauline admonitions that “slaves obey your masters with fear and trembling as unto the Lord” (Eph. 6:5-8), but also to the “mark of Cain” (Gen. 4:15) and the “curse of Ham,” Noah’s son, (Gen. 9: 24-27) as evidence of divine action against a specific (dark) segment of the human race. Abolitionists countered that slavery was the ultimate violation of Jesus’ admonition to “love your neighbor as yourself,” the greatest of the commandments. Slavery was thus a terrible violation of the heart of the Christian gospel.
These biblical and theological differences ultimately became so volatile that the denominations could no longer delay schism. Abolitionists intensified their denunciation of slavery and demanded its immediate end, while supporters of slavery declared that such an approach, in Richard Furman’s words, made the Bible “an expediency.” In the end, the denominations divided, often around the question of appointing slaveholders to denominationally-representative positions.
Southern Baptists and Methodists formed new regionally-based denominations in 1845, both over test cases regarding the appointment of slaveholding personnel. Baptist divisions developed out of their national organization, the General Convention of the Baptist Denomination in the United States for Foreign Missions, also known as the Triennial Convention. Georgia Baptists set up a test case by nominating a slaveholder named James Reeve for appointment as a home missionary. In rejecting this recommendation, the Home Mission Society declared that it would not participate in any action that even implied support for human slavery. Baptists in the South insisted that the Convention had changed the rules for appointment and therefore interfered with the ability of southerners to fulfill their missionary imperative. As a result, the Southern Baptist Convention was formed, its charter ignoring any reference to slavery and affirming that the denomination was begun in order that southerners might better carry out their missionary and evangelistic enterprise. The remaining northern group initially took the name American Baptist Missionary Union and then became the Northern Baptist Convention in 1907. It is now the American Baptist Churches in the USA, perhaps the most racially and ethnically diverse of any Baptist denomination. The division with the Southern Baptist Convention continues to this day.
Methodists divided over slavery as early as the 1840s when certain abolitionists left the Methodist Episcopal Church (MEC) to form the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Michigan in 1841 and the Methodist Wesleyan Connection in New York (1842-1843). The appointment of Georgian slave owner James Andrew as a bishop of the MEC led a majority at the 1844 General Conference to request that he immediately “desist from the exercise of his functions.” As schism appeared inevitable, the General Conference approved a formal plan of separation that at first seemed both conciliatory and appropriately methodical. Soon after its approval, southern delegates met in Louisville, Ky., and founded the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, in May, 1845. Fraternal separation agreements soon fell apart as the Northern Methodists voted that the original plan for division was “null and void.” This produced various legal actions over boundaries, property, and publishing resources. Following the war, the two church bodies remained separated until 1939.
Although Presbyterians did not formally divide over slavery until the beginning of the war in 1861, they split into Old School and New School factions in 1837 over a variety of theological questions, some related to the nature of conversion and use of revival methods. This schism had regional implications since Old School Presbyterians were strong in the South, while New School Presbyterians had significant constituency in the North. Northern Presbyterian groups moved gradually toward opposition to slavery and support for abolition in ways that finally forced formal division with the southerners. Following the Civil War, Old School and New School groups in each region united, with the northerners forming the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America, and the southerners the Presbyterian Church of the United States. The two denominations came together as the Presbyterian Church, USA, in 1983.
Conflicts over slavery were present among Lutherans and Episcopalians but their divisions seemed less institutionally explosive. Both communions divided after the war began and were reunited not long after it ended.
Slaves had long been members of southern churches, evangelized through revivals and camp meetings or instructed through programs outlined in such publications as Presbyterian Charles C. Jones’ The Religious Instruction of the Negroes (1842). These efforts were often predicated on the idea that slavery was a beneficial source of conversion for “pagan” Africans, and that Christianized slaves would be especially docile and obedient. After the war, continued second class status in white-controlled denominations led to a mass exodus of freedmen and women into their own organizations, including the African Methodist Episcopal Church (1816), the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Zion (1821) and certain Baptist denominations that took numerous variations on the name National Baptist Convention. The Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Missionary Convention (1897) is perhaps the oldest continuous mission organization among African American Baptists.
Differences over racial segregation and Jim Crow laws continued to confront and divide American denominations and churches, formally and informally, from the late nineteenth century through the Civil Rights era of the 1960s. Although some racial integration is present to varying degrees in most of the major Protestant traditions, reconciliation remains elusive and old divisions linger. The legacy of chattel slavery dies hard.
Here is what killed our US MORALS, ETHICS, US Rule of Law, GOD'S NATURAL LAW and tied to CLINTON/BUSH/OBAMA and those expansive Foreign Economic Zones having created FAILED STATES of our US cities over these few decades. Our US mayors are all tied to these secret societies---Greek or freemason-----Bush and Baltimore Mayor Schmoke are SKULL AND BONES and MLK as most black leaders who marched during civil rights made famous in NATIONAL MEDIA given awards by international groups ----were BOULE----GREEKS.
The BOULE is open about keeping 90% of black citizens down----now going to 95% ----soon those BOULE will be under the bus. GREEK society as we shout over and again is NOT TIED TO RELIGION----there are no morals, ethics, human rights or dignity values tied to GREEKS----they work for that same global 1% advancing their goals in exchange for a temporary moment of wealth and power. These photos show most of today's black US leaders as being tied to these groups and indeed so too are our US white leaders today. That was not the case through 1800s when our US citizens always voted to keep out those tied to OLD WORLD GLOBAL BANKING----because they fought revolutions to get rid of them.
When our US city poor black communities fill with more and more and more black impoverishment, left out of our US Foreign Economic Zone economy----these are the FAKE LEADERS who shout loudest for those 99% of US black citizens to BUCK UP----BE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE as those FAKE LEADERS corrupt all that is American MORALS, ETHICS, US RULE OF LAW, GOD'S NATURAL LAW.
ANYONE WANTING TO END THE CRIME AND VIOLENCE IN OUR US CITIES-------THE TOP AGENDA IS GETTING RID OF THE CRIMINAL CLASS AT THE TOP OF US CITY LADDERS IN ORDER FOR 99% OF US CITIZENS TO BUILD FAMILY, COMMUNITY, DUTY AND HONOR....
Our global 99% of immigrant citizens thinking this is the route to gaining wealth and freedom need to know the ROBBER BARON periods are over and these KINGS AND QUEEN 5% are bringing their families back into enslavement. Don't be a FOLLOWER----BE A 99% LEADER----we cannot have leaders without having morals, ethics, rule of law-----
The Boule – Skull and Bones Society
In 1904, the first African -American Greek Secret Society was formed in Philadelphia, by Dr. Henry Minton and five of his colleagues. The Boule, (an acronym for Sigma Pi Phi) and pronounced “boo-lay”), was formed to bring together a select group of educated Black men and women.
Fashioned after Yale’s Skull and Bones, the Boule historically takes pride in having provided leadership and service to Black Americans during the Great Depression, World Wars I and II, and the Civil Rights Movement. What could the Boule offer America’s Blacks in the early 20th century? Joining the exclusive secret society offered advancement and perks to select Blacks in return for loyalty to its objectives.
The Boule recruits top Blacks in American Society into its ranks. Today, 5000+ Archons, (male Boule members) and their wives, (Archousais), with 112 chapters, make up the wealthiest group of Black men and women on the planet. “Archon” means “demon” – the kind that like to keep hidden.
But to who does the Boule really serve?
The Satanic (mostly white) global elite! As long as the Black member conforms to the rules, the riches will be in abundance; if not, down comes the hatchet. Blackmail is part of the deal. This Masonic secret society has a pyramid style like all the rest. The lower ranks are kept from knowing what the upper ranks are doing. The early 20th century was a period of reconstruction.
Marcus Garvey’s “Back to Africa” Movement was in full swing. Garvey represented genuine Black leadership. W.E.B. Dubois, founding member of the NYC chapter of the Boule said, “The Boule was created to keep the black professional away from Marcus Garvey”. The remaking of the House Negro was necessary to institute a group of Blacks who had a vested interest in protecting the Elite White System. It was about selling out brothers and sisters for power and money. The majority of Black lawyers, doctors, engineers and accountants were members of this secret club.
The late conspiracy theorist and Futurologist Steve Cokely, had this to say: “Anywhere there are prominent professional Blacks, chances are they’re in the Boule”. Martin Luther King and Jesse Jackson are reported to have been Boule members, among many other high profile, successful and moneyed Blacks such as Barack Obama, Bill Cosby, Al Sharpton and Thurgood Marshall. The members of the Boule pose as Freedom Fighters or Civil Rights Activists on the surface. In truth, the elite members are operating for personal gain. The Boule works in concert with their masters in maintaining the grip of Illuminati supremacy on their people. The Boule is another arm of the nefarious secret societies that recruit, indoctrinate and cull for the dark forces. Therein are perks galore, power and notoriety all lying in wait for the easily compromised soul.In the Greek system, the Boule was the Lower House of Parliament. Charged with organizing the affairs of the city for the King. Let that sink in.This is an ancient story. The New World Order is The Old World Order. The elite Blacks of the Boule are culling and controlling their own for a slice of the elite white man’s pie.Like other secret societies, the Boule encourages homosexual trysts as initiation practices. This must be done to join the ranks. Bobby Hemmitt says, “Any kind of top-notch Negro gets together and they f*ck each other.”These perversions are then cataloged and stored on record. Later, if needed, these abuses may be used as bargaining tools in the ULTIMATE GAME. What is the Ultimate Game? Capturing human souls. The enemy may appear to have a white face but it goes much deeper than that. This is a force cloaked within many facades, personals, fictions and governing powers.
Incorporated, founded May 15, 1904 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is the 1st black fraternity in america and was before the 1st black “college” frat, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated which was founded December 4, 1906. The Boule’ is a black GREEK secret society based on another secret society founded at Yale University called Skull & Bones. The Boule’s primary founder was Dr. Henry Minton (along with Dr.’s Eugene T. Henson, Edwin Clarence Howard, Algernon Brashear Jackson, Robert Jones Abele and Richard John Warrick), of Philadelphia.
The founding member of the New York City chapter, WEB DuBois, said the Boule’ was created to
“keep the black professional away from the ranks of Marcus Garvey.”
(One thing that needs to be pointed out is the time period. Shortly after the founding of the Boule’ was also a time Marcus Garvey’s “Back to Afrika” movement was reaching a million-plus people without television or radio.)
DuBois emphasized, as Cokely stated,
“the importance to steal the black professional away from Garvey because an Afrocentric organization that articulated and captured the black professional would give YT no safe haven in the black community, so the Boule’ — the remaking of the house negro was necessary to build a group of negroes who had an investment in protecting the white system as produced by whites having stolen this land…This is post reconstruction. Taking away the articulate negro, now desiring to replace them with organized institutions to keep them away from self improvement. So we find in the same period, as the founding of the Boule’, the founding of the 4 black male (Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, and Phi Beta Sigma) and 4 black female (Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho) college-based fraternities and sororities…We also find the founding of the NAACP and Urban League.”DuBois was one of the strongest opponents of Garvey and was an instrumental “tool” in stopping one of the strongest grassroots movements in this century. What was Garvey’s plan? His plan was to take as many Afrikans from the America’s and start a settlement in the nation of Liberia and then help their new nation produce and control their own rubber crops and other industries in natural resources.
“If the oil of Africa is good for Rockefeller’s interest; if iron is good for Carnegie trust; then these minerals are good for us. Why should we allow wall street and the capitalist group of america and other countries exploit our country when they refuse to give us a fair chance in the countries of our adoption? Why should not Afrika give to the world its black Rockefeller, Rothschild, and Henry Ford?”
DuBois, along with Alain Locke — the first black (Cecil) Rhodes scholar — publicly defiled Garvey by calling him a “gorilla” any chance they got. Locke was quoted as saying:
“We hope the white man deliver’s cause we crushed a great black thing, but we know he’ll deliver or our people will attack and plague us forever more.”
These two house negroes made a bet that whites would come out on top and give a certain percentage of these greedy negroes, namely Boule’ members, the wealth they stole from Afrika. What’s deep is they didn’t believe in Afrikan self-reliance and preferred to have whites give them table scraps instead of us making the whole pie!
Understand the Boule’ represents the weakest element of Afrikan people. As Cokely put’s it,
“It took a type of nigger to form an organization like this. I mean, we just got our a**** kicked during reconstruction, Afrika was divided before our very eyes (The Berlin conference), damn, this was 50 years before Rosa Parks!”
The question is why were these black devils like this? The answer may lie in the fact that the Boule’ is a Greek organization.
As of 2012, there were 101 chapters in the world; yes the Boule’ is in your town! Anywhere there are professional blacks, the Boule’ coagulates. The amount of these men’s wealth (including strong political and economic connections — strong enough to assist in killing Malcolm X and fellow Boule member Martin Luther King!) cannot be matched by any other blacks anywhere in the world!
The History of the Boule
‘Boule’, again, meaning “advisor’s to the king”, is the lower house Inside the Boule’ history book — written by Charles H. Wesley, a Boule’ member, (he also wrote the history books for Alpha Phi Alpha, the Elks, and Prince Hall Masons and founded Central State University in Ohio) wrote on page 28, why one of it’s founding member’s, Minton, who also owned the first black drugstore in the United States, wanted to create such an organization:
“Minton wanted to create an organization which would partake in the tenants (basis, or root) of Skull & Bones at Yale.”
Now who is Skull & Bones? Skull & Bones’ — aka Brotherhood of Death, alias the 2nd chapter of the Illuminati, incorporated for business purposes as Russell Trust, was established in 1776 at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.
Most politicians, both black and white, are Masons. But there is a difference. Non-whites can only attain 33 degrees; and whites get 33 and 1/3rd. The root of Masonry is of the knowledge (33 1/3 degrees)
Now! If Henry Minton, who was black, wanted to create a black secret society based on these beliefs and customs, what type of devil is he? If you were to look on page 38 of the Boule’s history book, it also says,
“In the building of the organizations plan, reliance was placed upon Greek history and tradition. The reasons of this action are not difficult to discover, for it is well known that the study of Greek civilization was basically an acquaintance with western civilization, although Greek culture had relationships with the culture of the orient.”
If you are familiar with Masonry, or secret societies, members took a pledge to never reveal the secrets of that organization, for if he did, his punishment would be death. This is why we it’s difficult to get any of the Boule’ member’s to tell us what’s up. Thanks, to an article written July 18th, 1990 of the LA Times and one published in the, Washington Post, November 23, 1991, this secret society was exposed. Because people are beginning to find out about the history of the Boule, as well as their own children lacking interest in continuing the mental and spiritual rape of Afrikan people, the Boule publicly claims themselves as only a “social” organization. Fellow Boule’ member — and so-called, Afrocentric scholar Asa Hilliard, was confronted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Harlem, New York about his affiliation with the Boule’. The first time he said,
“we’re just a group of people that throw banquets and picnics,”
Understand that all black “leaders” white America gave us, actually had an allegiance with white supremacy.
If you think about it, back in the early 1900s, we weren’t even 40 years out of slavery. So the house negro/field Afrikan mentality was still in existence. Most Afrikans, of that time, had gone through much self-denial. The old cliche’, “If you black, get back; if you brown, stick around; if you yellow, you’re mellow; and if you white, you i-ight or right!”, was rampant and most of our ancestors lost themselves through bleaching their skin, conking their hair, and speaking “civilized” in order to be seen different than a field nigga.
We must also realize that most of our co-founders of black organization’s were mulatto’s (very light-skinned). These house negroes had already felt they were better than dark-skinned blacks. And went out of their way to prove to whites they were different. Because we were now “free”, whites still needed to keep an eye on us. They needed an overseer. This is why around the same time as the founding of the Boule’, we find the founding of the NAACP and the Urban League. These “black” organizations were co-founded by Jewish spies who used DuBois as their scapegoat!!
One must also note that NAACP co-founder, Joel Spingarn, a known beast who spied on the Afrikan community, was also very influential in the finding of the Boule’. A lot of us don’t know that a lot of these organizations were really a front! They were supposed to defend the countless atrocities against black people; on the contrary, we found out the very whites we were complaining about, actually help find these organizations!! This makes a lot of sense now. I see why the NAACP doesn’t even own the building national headquarters of located at. Think about it. With all the loot the NAACP gets annually, and they still have to pay rent for their building?! That’s because they have to answer to someone(whites) who is their major fund raiser.
While we were being lynched, raped, and murdered by YT, we thought these organizations would help us fight for justice; later to find out the person our “leaders” answer to is the very one with blood on his hands!! Can you see why we are in the shape we’re in today Afrikans?! It is very evident. In the words of Cokely,
“When we look at the Boule’ closely, we find a confusion of values. Black men who felt that their advancement was edged upon a positive relationship with wealthy and influential white people. And I say that that may have an adverse impact on our revolution. Therefore, we give them (the Boule’) today, this official warning…Our goal is not to kill off the Boule’; but to warn them as an organization. To warn the individual that if they bring false values, or worship a false idol, into the community at a time the community attempts to self-determinate (liberate ourselves), if we gave the call, they will come and grab you, we have every one of your addresses and phone numbers, we can get you, if we choose to. But we only choose to ask you to step aside and the day we got to get “massa”, you find some way to be on vacation…To kill off the Boule’ would be like eating the peel off a banana and ignoring the actual banana.”
In other words, in order to stop the puppet, you must stop the puppeteer.
There is also a Boule’ membership book with some very interesting names. Out of the list there are members such as, Dr. Daniel Hale Williams — performed 1st open heart surgery; Ralph Bunch — former UN Ambassador; Arthur Ashe; Urban League President, Whitney Young; Martin Luther King, Jr.; Benjamin Mays; Carter G. Woodson; John H. Johnson; Maynard Jackson — ex-mayor of Atlanta (all who died never speaking of the Boule’ and therefore taking the secrets of white supremacy with them); Baseball great Hank Aaron; Tom Bradley – tv personality; Dennis Archor – mayor of Detroit; Elvin Big ‘E’ Hayes; Bill Cosby; Jesse Jackson; Earl Graves; Douglass Wilder; ex-Steeler, Lynn Swann, and David Dinkins – ex-mayor of New York City, to name a few. Most Boule’ members are of the “successful” group. As Cokely puts it, “Yes the Boule’ is in your town!” Anywhere there are “prominent” professional blacks, chances are they’re in the Boule’. Brother Cokely is the God that should be given biggup’s to. His tireless dedication and research has allowed the masses of Afrikan people to know the truth of which the Boule’ has pledged to never let you know. We have the roster up to 1994 which includes 101 chapters. It is now 1998, we haven’t yet gotten the latest roster, but I’m sure there are quite a few more. Next piece, we will elaborate on the symbolism behind their logo, their colors, the origin of college fraternities and sororities and the close relation to demonic masonry. Continue to seek knowledge and we shall find.
My next incision will go a level deeper. I will perform open heart surgery and split open the aorta of these so-called black Greeks; I will define the meaning of the Boule’s logo — the Sphinx; their colors; and more of their connection with masonry. Let’s start with their logo.
Most will say it is a sphinx. True, but not truth. Most will associate the sphinx with the tall, solid block statue our ancestors built in ancient KMT (in Afrika). Because we have been conditioned to accept without question, we never thought of looking up what the word sphinx means. Look in any dictionary and it will tell you that a sphinx is a third part woman, one-third eagle and one-third lion (notice the breasts and wings). So when I think of the tall statue in KMT, does it look like a woman?? Where are the breasts?! What about the wings?! The original, Afrikan name is Her-Em-Akhet, which means Heru of the horizon and has the face of the builder, Khafre. When we look up the definition of sphinx, it means “to strangle, guard; gatekeeper or protect”. This has nothing to do with Kemet or Afrikan people. The sphinx is a Grecian myth and is a major part of masonry.
According to the Greeks, this beast was a guardian of the city of Thebes. She sat on a cliff on the only path leading to the city. Anyone that wanted to enter Thebes had to first confront the sphinx. The sphinx would ask one simple riddle and if you didn’t know the answer, she would devour you, tearing you to pieces. The king, Creon, was upset that many people were unable to enter his city. He consulted a homosexual named Oedipus (NOTE: homosexuality was a norm for the Grecian culture).
The king offered his crown and his daughter if he could kill the sphinx. So he bounced to where she was and she asked him the riddle, “What has one voice, and goes on four feet on two feet and on three, but the more feet it goes on the weaker it be?” Oedipus responded, “Man — who crawls on all fours as a baby, then walks on two as an adult, and walks with a cane in old age.” After answering the riddle correctly, the sphinx committed suicide by jumping off the cliff and Oedipus was claimed king of Thebes for outsmarting the beast.
They could never understand what Her-Em-Akhet means. The statue faced the east because our ancestors knew the pineal gland is the seat of the Afrikan soul and when the sun rises in the east, it hits the forehead (pineal gland), suppressing the beastly nature of man. As author Tony Browder puts it,
“Symbolically, the body represents the animal nature which exists in woman, and the lion exemplifies the royalty and power of the divine spirit that exists in its lower physical form. The head of a man symbolizes the intelligence of the mind which must be cultivated in order to elevate the consciousness into a higher spiritual state so that it may become divine. Metaphorically speaking, it is the suppression of the lower animal nature and the refinement of the thought process that leads to the spiritual evolution of man. Spiritually speaking, it is only by conquering the “beast” within that one is capable of truly knowing God.”
As stated before, Boule’ means “advisor to the king”, and we clarified last piece that the king is the Rockefeller Foundation. If we were to bring some numerology into this, the sphinx’s number is 9. The riddle of the Sphinx is what walks on 4, 2, then 3. That equals 9. 4 symbolized the ignorant man (baby); 2, the intellectual (young adult); and 3, the spiritual (old man with cane, which means wisdom).
The masonic definition of the number 9 is the natural number of man AND the lower worlds (or evil)! Looking at the logo, you will notice under the sphinx in between the Greek letters, there are 2 sets of 3×3 squares. Brother Steve Cokely pointed out, after attending a Boule’ national conference a couple years ago, that each square represented each of the 4 black frats and 4 black sororities. The final square belongs to the one that started it all, the Boule’!
You will also notice the sphinx with his right paw covering an earn (vase). Inside the earn we see a circle-within-a-circle with a dot in the middle. This had 2 meanings. First, the circle-within-a-circle is the symbol of the Rockefeller Foundation (which is subservient to the Rothschild/Rhodes secret society, the Illuminati).
So what the sphinx is doing is what it’s definition is, “protect, guard; gatekeeper”. It is protecting the interests of white supremacy! The second meaning is the circle within the circle has a dot in the middle. The circle, including the dot is the symbol of Ra. Our ancient Sun God, or Heru of the original trinity, Ausar, Auset, and Heru. The outer circle is like a enclosed layer, closing off the power of Ra, along with the paw to further conceal the truth of our ancient history the beast knows is very vital to our upliftment! There are many symbols out here that have racist definitions. Remember the saying, “A picture speaks a thousand words”.
This is a code of communication we originated on the walls and temples back in KMT (Metu Neter or as the Greeks call it, hieroglyphics). The Boule’s colors are blue and white and is a cipher within itself. Blue has a close relationship with masonry. In masonry, blue resembled the lower protective lodges. These are also the code of silence lodges. They are the front line of the protective layer. The color white really needs no elaboration, but we will for those white worshipers …it represents the race they respect the most.
The Boule’ has taken a sworn oath to maintain the state of white supremacy and to never let you know the whites that rule the world. It’s just like the house negro/field Afrikan theory. The white ‘massa’ needed a house negro to keep an eye on the rest of the Afrikans to alert him if there would be an uprising (the word ‘negro’ stands for clarification. Many have been taught that negro is Spanish and means black. But the Spanish got this word from the Greeks, who called ‘necro’. Necro in greek means DEAD! So what we are dealing with when dealing with ‘negroes’ is DEAD-thinking Afrikans!). The Boule’ is no different. They are guaranteed table scraps as long as they keep the rest of us in check. They are allowed to get high paying salaries, luxurious cars, even their own businesses (although dictated by whites — look at Ebony, Jet, Essence, Black Enterprise, etc and notice the many white advertisements inside each issue. These are the one’s who dictate what goes in and goes out of each issues of these so-called black magazines.) as long as they ‘inform’ massa of any Marcus Garvey’s, Queen Tiye’s, Malcolm X’s, or Queen Nzingha’s.
We,(African diaspora) have been handed cultural, political and religious belief systems used to great advantage by these generational Satanists and lying collectives. These elite systems promote dissension, division, hatred, bigotry and war. According to the ruling powers, people are objects that need to be controlled. Therefore, we have men and women in high places that are soulless and beyond the reach of normal reasoning processes. We have an ancient enemy with a large collection of demonic assistants. The evil elite has had a good run. Though they may be certain skin colors, certain nationalities and creeds, they are apart from you and me. We must stand up like the true Kings and Queens we are. We must let the truth be known.
Baby boomers living in 1960s and 70s remember these debates------we don't know if MALCOLM X was a global 1% player as well as MLK-----but REAL LEFT social progressives did know that our US black 99% needed to build a separate economy and wealth separate from our US banking because US banking is controlled by global European white 1%. This does not mean the left social progressives did not want integration-----we simply recognized the need for building first a separate economic system before integrating into mainstream US Wall Street economics.
This was the battle within our 99% US black citizens' communities------MLK AND INTEGRATION won because he was global banking 1% BOULE and international media sold him as the hero I'VE GOT A DREAM. Flash forward to today, indeed those 1% BLACK BOULE were made millionaires a few billionaires MOVING FORWARD ROBBER BARON few decades of stealing from the poor economics.......but as 99% of black US citizens are shouting -----WE HAVE NO US BLACK/AFRICAN ECONOMIC STRUCTURES. This was deliberate on the part of global 1% banking----any 5% black player thinking they are WINNERS need to WAKE UP---So, the NATION OF ISLAM being MUSLIM are 5% to the 1% freemason players----they are NOT RELIGIOUS corrupting yet another of our world religions---ISLAM/MUSLIM.
Our Islamic 99% believe deeply in morals, ethics, Rule of Law, God's Natural Law-----family, honor, and duty. It is again that 5% freemason/Greek player corrupting by lying, cheating, stealing, being above all laws. Who is in our US city communities being sold as community leaders?
THESE VERY SAME 5% FREEMASON/GREEKS tied to global banking 1% lying, cheating, and stealing, creating great injustice for 99% of US and global labor.
PLEASE DO NOT ONLY SHOUT AT AN INDIVIDUAL TO BUCK UP AND BE INDIVIDUALLY RESPONSIBLE IT TAKES CLEANING OUT THAT CRIMINAL CLASS AT THE TOP TO BRING STABILITY IN OUR COMMUNITIES AND INSIDE FAMILIES.
Our 99% of US black citizens have had a much harder time in building their own place inside America because of all these very, very, very bad structures in place during AMERICAN COLONIAL PERIODS. Our white and brown 99% US WE THE PEOPLE will not survive MOVING FORWARD by tying to RACE AND CLASS.
Assimilation vs separate and equal --------our US 99% of white citizens benefiting from colonial America being a utopia filled with white immigrant citizens need to think what MOVING FORWARD has as a goal----stand together as a 99% black, white, and brown citizen vs 1% and work to rebuild morals, ethics, rule of law, God's Natural Laws-----
54h. Malcolm X and the Nation of Islam
Though Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were both influential figures in the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, the two met only once and exchanged just a few words. When Malcolm Little was growing up in Lansing, Michigan, he developed a mistrust for white Americans. Ku Klux Klan terrorists burned his house, and his father was later murdered — an act young Malcolm attributed to local whites. After moving to Harlem, Malcolm turned to crime. Soon he was arrested and sent to jail.
The prison experience was eye-opening for the young man, and he soon made some decisions that altered the course of his life. He began to read and educate himself. Influenced by other inmates, he converted to Islam. Upon his release, he was a changed man with a new identity.
Believing his true lineage to be lost when his ancestors were forced into slavery, he took the last name of a variable: X.
Malcolm X was a practitioner of the Black Muslim faith, which combines the religious aspects of Islam with the ideas of both black power and black nationalism.Wallace Fard founded the Nation of Islam in the 1930s. Christianity was the white man's religion, declared Fard. It was forced on African Americans during the slave experience. Islam was closer to African roots and identity. Members of the Nation of Islam read the Koran, worship Allah as their God, and accept Mohammed as their chief prophet. Mixed with the religious tenets of Islam were black pride and black nationalism. The followers of Fard became known as Black Muslims.
When Fard mysteriously disappeared, Elijah Muhammad became the leader of the movement. The Nation of Islam attracted many followers, especially in prisons, where lost African Americans most looked for guidance. They preached adherence to a strict moral code and reliance on other African Americans. Integration was not a goal. Rather, the Nation of Islam wanted blacks to set up their own schools, churches, and support networks. When Malcolm X made his personal conversion, Elijah Muhammad soon recognized his talents and made him a leading spokesperson for the Black Muslims.
The goal has always been the same, with the approaches to it as different as mine and Dr. Martin Luther King's non-violent marching, that dramatizes the brutality and the evil of the white man against defenseless blacks. And in the racial climate of this country today, it is anybody's guess which of the "extremes" in approach to the black man's problems might personally meet a fatal catastrophe first — "non-violent" Dr. King, or so-called '"violent" me.
As Martin Luther King preached his gospel of peaceful change and integration in the late 1950s and early 1960s, Malcolm X delivered a different message: whites were not to be trusted. He called on African Americans to be proud of their heritage and to set up strong communities without the help of white Americans. He promoted the establishment of a separate state for African Americans in which they could rely on themselves to provide solutions to their own problems. Violence was not the only answer, but violence was justified in self-defense. Blacks should achieve what was rightfully theirs "by any means necessary."
Cartoonist Jimmy Margulies's satire of police profiling — the practice of pulling motorists over simply because of their race — won him an award for excellence in journalism. Caption: "Not only does this have dynamic performance, but think of the oohs and aahs you'll get when you're pulled over on the turnpike."Malcolm X electrified urban audiences with his eloquent prose and inspirational style. In 1963, he split with the Nation of Islam; in 1964, he made the pilgrimage to Mecca. Later that year, he showed signs of softening his stand on violence and even met with Martin Luther King Jr. to exchange remarks. What direction he might have ultimately taken is lost to a history that can never be written. As Malcolm X led a mass rally in Harlem on February 21, 1965, rival Black Muslims gunned him down.
Although his life was ended, the ideas he preached lived on in the Black Power Movement.
We can look at the public policy of ASSIMILATION over thousands of years---it was used by OLD WORLD MERCHANTS OF VENICE GLOBAL 1% from Greek through Roman empire-building as well as the Asian global 1% doing the same. When we read ANNIE PROULX and her BARKSKINS we discussed earlier she makes a point of the goal of OLD WORLD GLOBAL 1% European rich in colonizing America to make a MELTING POT--------assimilation of native citizens into European societal structures by marriage, family, education, economy.
THIS IS FROM WHERE THE TERM WHITE PRIVILEGE COMES HERE IN US.
So, MLK and the 1% black BOULE were doing as in ROME here in US when they embraced assimilation for US 99% of black citizens. It follows that MOVING FORWARD having a goal of filling US cities with a few billion of global labor pool from Asia, Arabia, Africa that this same ethos will be pushed for our US black and white citizens now playing the part of NATIVE AMERICANS.
Assimilation has always been a far-right wing global 1% public policy in societal structures. Take today's Chinese national politburo billionaires forcing the same on TIBET----filling TIBET with HAN CHINESE to kill Tibetan culture. There is nothing LEFT SOCIAL PROGRESSIVE in wanting to kill other cultures to make ONE WORLD ONE CULTURE.
'For hundreds of years, theirs is a story of reluctant — and often forced — assimilation, countered by spurts of doomed cultural nostalgia. And yet from their deep respect for the forests eventually sprouts our only hope of survival'.

For other uses, see Romanization (disambiguation).
Romanization or Latinization (or Romanisation or Latinisation: see spelling differences), in the historical and cultural meanings of both terms, indicate different historical processes, such as acculturation, integration and assimilation of newly incorporated and peripheral populations by the Roman Republic and the later Roman Empire.
All that slowly culminated in many gradual developments.
The very existence is a source of contention among modern archaeologists. One of the first approaches, which now can be regarded as the "traditional" approach, was taken by Francis Haverfield. He saw this process beginning in primarily post-conquest societies (such as Britain and Gaul), where direct Roman policy from the top promoted an increase in the Roman population of the province through the establishment of veteran colonies. The coloniae would have spoken Latin and been citizens of Rome following their army tenure (See Roman citizenship). Haverfield thus assumes this would have a Romanising effect upon the native communities.
This thought process, fueled though it was by early 20th century standards of imperialism and cultural change, forms the basis for the modern understanding of Romanization. However, recent scholarship has devoted itself to providing alternate models of how native populations adopted Roman culture and has questioned the extent to which it was accepted or resisted.
- Non-Interventionist Model – Native elites were encouraged to increase social standing through association with the powerful conqueror be it in dress, language, housing and food consumption. That provides them with associated power. The establishment of a civil administration system is quickly imposed to solidify the permanence of Roman rule.
- Discrepant Identity – No uniformity of identity that can accurately be described as traditional Romanization. Fundamental differences within a province are visible through economics, religion and identity. Not all provincials supported Rome and not all élites wanted to be like the Roman upper classes.
- Acculturation – Aspects of both Native and Roman cultures are joined together., as can be seen in the Roman acceptance, and adoption of, non-Classical religious practices. The inclusion of Isis, Epona, Britannia and Dolychenus into the pantheon are evidence.
- Creolization – Romanization occurs as a result of negotiation between different elements of non-egalitarian societies and so material culture is ambiguous.
Here we see that word COLONIZATION-----with ASSIMILATION. In the US REAL left social progressive policies all last century were for EQUAL PROTECTION EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AND ACCESS for all 99% of citizens black, white, and brown citizens embracing MULTI-CULTURALISM.
The term BARBARIAN was coined during these ROMAN TIMES to identify cultures captured---needing to be ROMANIZED ----civilized. What do we have in MOVING FORWARD ROBBER BARON few decades in US and Europe? A systematic killing of all that is CIVIL ------OF CIVIL SOCIETY.

Not to be confused with civic society.
Civil society is the "aggregate of non-governmental organizations and institutions that manifest interests and will of citizens". Civil society includes the family and the private sphere, referred to as the "third sector" of society, distinct from government and business'.
Throughout CLINTON/BUSH/OBAMA the topic most common in public policy dealing with societal structures in US-----was just this----the breaking down of American civility --------civil society with a goal of MOVING FORWARD ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE for only the global 1% creating that new society minus US 99% of WE THE PEOPLE and 99% of global citizens.
DEATH OF CIVILITY as this article shows is not only tied to Western nations---it is what global 1% ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE has as a goal in Asia, Arabia, Persia, Africa-----Latin America, US, Canada, Europe, UK.
CIVIL SOCIETY is our morals, ethics, US Rule of Law, God's Natural Law------if we want to rebuild family, community, honor and duty in our US city communities----we must STOP MOVING FORWARD US CITIES DEEMED FOREIGN ECONOMIC ZONES ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE.
There was no bigger 5% player Clinton neo-liberal then Gary Hart-----so when Gary describes the DEATH OF CIVILITY tying it to left social progressive policies installed last century and not mentioning goals of MOVING FORWARD ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE------we are being deliberately mis-informed by MR HART

The Death of Civility
Author: Gary Hart
Civility is the name we give to mutual respect, decency, and honor among men and women. Like civilization itself, civility evolves over time. It is utilitarian in that societies function best when civility is the norm. But its deeper meaning has to do with the nature of humanity. When civility breaks down, societies fall apart.
Incivility in American politics did not occur overnight and it is not solely Donald Trump’s contribution. The decline of civility began sometime back and has been increasing in momentum in recent months.
Books are being churned out analyzing this development and isolating causes. The coarsening of popular culture—movies, music, television, and so on. The conversion of big banks, under the liberation of deregulation, from sober temples of caution to casinos. Trade, technology, and immigration shrinking opportunity for advancement. Multi-culturalism eroding the dominant position of middle (white) Americans. The rise of women in the workforce, in competition with men, the traditional wage earners and heads of household.
Shifting cultural tectonic plates first cause confusion, then anxiety, then resentment, then finally anger. Angry people on a mass scale soon replace mutual respect with resentment. Wide-spread, simmering resentment looks only for a spokesman, someone to give it a voice.
Political civility began to crack two or three decades ago. Coded language was used to give resentment a voice. “States’ rights” was invoked to express resentment at national civil rights legislation. The long hair of 60s hippies was, curiously, adopted by Vietnam vets and blue collar workers in protest against powerful elites.
Resentment requires an object. It does not operate in a vacuum. Someone is to blame, and too often that is true.
The new media, first non-stop partisan cable, then the startling rise of an array of social media, caused traditional media outlets, print and electronic, to abandon professional standards and join the mad hunt for “the story” at the cost of the privacy of public servants and eventually the very caliber of those willing to seek office. Those traditional media outlets, driven by professionalism and ethical standards, began to wither even before being lampooned by Sarah Palin.
This perfect storm inevitably brought wide-spread resentment, political candidates proudly proclaiming their ignorance, and desperately voracious media outlets together in 2016. Donald Trump didn’t invent all of this. He was simply clever enough to stand outside, watch the storm gathering, and then give it voice.
To exhibit thoughtfulness, intelligence, magnanimity imagination, and a sense of understanding the future on the part of a candidate for national office is to risk ridicule and scorn poured on top of rejection. For the forces of know-nothingness on the right, to warn of climate change is an insult. To call attention to the decay of our public infrastructure is to foster “big government.” To suggest we ought to pay for the public benefits we demand is socialism.
Once torn down, civility is not easily or quickly restored. No single leader, however talented, can bring it back. No new election in four years will restore us to the ranks of a sober, thoughtful, respected and respectful nation.
We are in danger of following nations of former times into the ranks of decline and irrelevance. We must think about this and discuss it before the trend becomes irreversible.
REAL left social progressive policies during last century promoted equal protection opportunity and access to economic development for all new immigrant communities and our US black, brown, and white citizens. STAMPING OUT REBELLIOUS IMPULSES by creating economic stagnation, joblessness as was done with our US native Americans during BARKSKINS colonization of America-----
There is nothing better than global citizens choosing to marry anyone they want. THAT IS INDEED LEFT SOCIAL PROGRESSIVE. Creating economic structures designed to eliminate cultures is NOT A GOAL that will benefit any of our global 99% or US 99% of citizens.

China promotes mixed marriages in Tibet as way to achieve ‘unity’

BEIJING — During their controversial six-decade-rule of Tibet, China’s Communist Party leaders have been accused by human rights groups of trying to tame the restive region by imprisoning Tibetan political prisoners, keeping in exile their leader the Dalai Lama and repressing Tibetan religion and culture.
Now, China has turned to interracial marriage in an apparent attempt to assimilate Tibetans and stamp out rebellious impulses.
In recent weeks, Chinese officials in charge of the Tibetan Autonomous Region have ordered a run of stories in local newspapers promoting mixed marriages. And according to newly published government reports, the government has adopted a series of policies in recent years favorable to interracial couples.
Urging officials to push mixed marriages harder, China’s highest official in the Tibetan region, Chen Quanguo, recently staged a photo op with 19 mixed families.
“As the saying goes, ‘blood is thicker than water,’ we should make our ethnic relationship like that,” Chen said at the meeting in June, according to the state-run Tibetan Daily. The government must “actively promote intermarriages.”
So far, the government push has seen some success.
In a report published this month celebrating such policies, the Communist Party’s research office in Tibet said mixed marriages have increased annually by double-digit percentages for the past five years, from 666 couples in 2008 to 4,795 couples in 2013.
While avoiding specifics, the report attributed the growth to favorable policies in areas such as social security, reproductive rights, vacations, prizes and special treatment for children born from such marriage, including education, employment and Communist Party membership.
The government has focused on Tibetans marrying Han Chinese.
Tibet’s population is roughly 90 percent Tibetan and 8 percent Han Chinese. Demographics for China as a whole is the reverse at 92 percent Han Chinese and less than 1 percent Tibetan.
The government has sold the effort in state-run media as a way to achieve ethnic unity, but critics argue that its true aim is to further weaken Tibetan culture.
In a phone interview, Tibetan poet Tsering Woeser, an activist who has frequently clashed with authorities, likened the promotion of intermarriage to the worst practices of colonization.

There’s nothing objectionable about couples from different backgrounds coming together naturally, she said. Woeser herself is married to a Han Chinese, dissident writer Wang Lixiong. But when the authorities use it as a tool and create policies to encourage it, she said, it feels wrong.
She compared it to Japanese police being encouraged to marry local women during Japan’s occupation of Taiwan.
For weeks, government-run newspapers in Tibet have featured happy mixed couples in which the children love both cultures and equally speak Tibetan and Mandarin.
But among Tibetans, there is great fear about losing their culture and traditions.
Government policy requires mixed couples to choose early on what ethnicity to designate their children in official documents. Many choose to name their children as Han rather than Tibetan, believing that it gives their children a chance at a better life, said a 28-year-old Tibetan woman who works at a local government department. She spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of losing her job.
Many also send their children to study in the better schools of mainland China rather than in Tibet, she said.
While the percentage of Tibetans who marry Han may be increasing there, the total number remains small, she noted.
At Chen’s meeting with mixed families on June 18, the party secretary of Tibet praised intermarriage, calling it recognition of the great motherland, Chinese as a people, Chinese culture, and the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, according to state media.
Chen called for government departments to use everything in their power and designate key officials to steer public opinion. Party and government officials should act as matchmakers, he said.
Nationwide, China has long offered ethnic minority groups favorable treatment as a way to try to integrate them into society, a policy that is often criticized by Han and ethnic minorities alike.
When one or both spouses are of ethnic minority, a couple can generally have up to three children, despite China’s one-child policy. Ethnic students are given extra scores for their minority status in college entrance exams. Intermarried families are also often awarded honors for being “models of ethnic unity” and are sometimes favored for government positions.
And Chinese history is dotted with examples of interracial marriage as a strategy to maintain peace. One of the most famous stories is the marriage between Chinese Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty and Songtsan Gambo, then king of Tibet, which sealed a peace treaty.
The story was turned into an outdoor musical last August, promoted by the government, and is showing in Tibet.
Gary Hart would have our 99% of white citizens feel they are having their dominant positions eroded by allowing REAL left social progressive multi-culturalism. Remember, back in 1960-70s this term was tied to EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSE OF US CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS opening the workplace to women, citizens of color, protecting seniors and disabled-------and of course our new immigrant citizens. So, multi-cultural back then included gender, differently-abled, the poor, the old broadening what had been a very white, male workforce. This soared during WW 2 and grew as the US adopted CONTINUOUS WARS ----
What made possible for much of last century the inclusion of EQUAL PROTECTION EQUAL OPPORTUNITY in US workforce was a THRIVING, HEALTHY US ECONOMY. Corporation earning millions in profits full employment for all population groups. So, MULTI-CULTURALISM is not the problem for US white men not having jobs. It was MOVING FORWARD GLOBAL 1% EMPIRE-BUILDING not caring whether white men were employed or not-----not caring if women, black or brown, disabled, seniors et al were employed or not.
'The conversion of big banks, under the liberation of deregulation, from sober temples of caution to casinos. Trade, technology, and immigration shrinking opportunity for advancement. Multi-culturalism eroding the dominant position of middle (white) Americans. The rise of women in the workforce, in competition with men, the traditional wage earners and heads of household'.
Our US white men were done in by voting for far-right wing global 1% REAGAN/CLINTON.
Now, the ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE 5% TO THE 1% POLS AND PLAYERS have known since FDR era in early 1900s the goals of MOVING FORWARD in bringing the US back to COLONIAL status filling with global labor pool.
MULTI-CULTURALISM IS NOT KILLING US CIVILITY OR CIVIL SOCIETY-------IMMIGRANTS COMING TO US WANT US GOVERNMENT STRUCTURES ASSURING FREEDOM, LIBERTY, JUSTICE, AND RIGHTS AS CITIZENS JUST AS DO 99% US WE THE PEOPLE.
ONE NATIONAL IDENTITY-----that is allegiance, honor, duty, enforcing US Rule of Law-----who has been breaking all this down these few decades of CLINTON/BUSH/OBAMA? The far-right wing------this very person DAVID CAMERON of UK. The right wing are the ones killing our US national identity as too in UK----pushing ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE VIA FAILED STATE.
The Right Fight For One National Identity, Not Multiculturalism
Barely a quarter century after their defeat of the Soviet Union and its international socialism, the U.S. and Europe are faced again with the national question. To wit, in the age of Islamist terrorism that knows no borders and migration patterns that threaten cohesion, can Western countries put the evil genie of multiculturalism back in the bottle and promote an inclusive national identity?
The struggle, as British Prime Minister David Cameron is finding out, will not be easy. The New Left does not prattle on about the “international proletariat” or the “class struggle” with the same gusto as before. Instead, it has become very adept at using multiculturalism as a tool to remake society while selling it as homespun goodness.
THE NEW LEFT IS ONE WORLD ONE GOVERNANCE GLOBAL 1% -----IT IS NOT LEFT----IT IS FAR-RIGHT WING LIBERTARIAN NEO-LIBERALS MORPHING TO MARXISM.
So when Cameron makes common sense statements about the need to end multicultural policies that create separate groups within one nation, the left from The Guardian in Britain to NPR in the United States goes all haywire.
The Prime Minister fired his latest salvo in what has now become one of his signature battles in a column last week in The Times of London. In it he had the temerity to write:
All too often, because of what I would call “passive tolerance”, people subscribe to the flawed idea of separate development .... It is time to change our approach. We will never truly build one nation unless we are more assertive about our liberal values, more clear about the expectations we place on those who come to live here and build our country together, and more creative and generous in the work we do to break down barriers.
Cameron’s assertion that Muslim women in Britain were isolated from the national culture when they did not speak English, making the recruitment of their children into ISIS all the easier, and his pledge to spend more money on English-language classes, sparked particular outrage, ironically from quarters that are always the loudest in defending the independence of women. So too did his proposal that those applying to settle permanently in the UK must be able to speak intermediate English and pass a “Life in the UK” test, based on British history, culture and values.
The term One Nation, which Cameron employs often, has an old pedigree in the United Kingdom, especially among Tories. It was used by Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli in the late 19th century as an ideology that would heal societal divisions by emphasizing the interlacing obligations between classes. It is no coincidence that Cameron has referred to Disraeli as his favorite conservative.
When used in the present context, in a UK that is perhaps more riven now by racial divisions than by those of class, it can be a useful device to rally the country around one set of values.
Cameron has zeroed in on multiculturalism—the belief that the differences between groups in society must be preserved, and that the nation state can survive and even thrive as it is thus balkanized—as a dangerous approach.
Already back in 2008 he attacked that notion for what it is. “It means treating groups of people as monolithic blocks rather than individual citizens,” he said in a speech which criticized the then-Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams for saying that Sharia Law should be extended into Britain.
In that speech Cameron also did something that conservatives must always remember to do: He identified multiculturalism as a tool of the left, and as offensive to the principle that all citizens are entitled to equal protection under the law. “Multiculturalism,” said the then opposition leader, “was manipulated to entrench the right to difference – which is a divisive concept. What we need is the right to equal treatment despite difference.”
American conservatives must support Cameron and draw lessons for the United States as well. In a special report published this month, I detail our long history of immigration and patriotic assimilation, and how elites at mid-century began to turn back on this model and emphasize the multicultural approach. Under President Obama, the multicultural, non-assimilationist approach has gone faster than ever. We couldn't imagine President Obama saying any of the things the British Prime Minister has.
As we can see with the hysterical backlash against Cameron, multiculturalism is a key front for the left, and leftists will take to the parapets to defend it. Political correctness has been a useful weapon. Multiculturalism has become the choice medium through which leftists undermine traditional national identity and its basic tenets, and create a balkanized society that only a strong government can rule.
Writing in 1913 in “Marxism and the National Question,” Joseph Stalin observed that “a nation is a historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, and psychological make-up manifested in a common culture.” It was, therefore, a threat to international socialism. "The national type of organization is a school of national narrow-mindedness and stagnation."
We should side with Disraeli, and Cameron.
