'For the first time in Oregon , more voters that voted on Ballot Measures leaving candidates box blank out numbered the votes for candidates'.
I like to spend the weekend talking about elections and will today. First, let's recognize that all across the nation a record number of Democrats did not come to the polls and it is because almost every primary election had a Clinton global corporate neo-liberal recognized as the winner and Democratic voters do not want to vote for Clinton neo-liberals. They stayed home or voted Republican in protest of what are raging Wall Street policies that only a Republican would support. See how Wall Street is capturing all political parties and as in Maryland it is illegal primary activity and capture of our election and justice organization leadership that is allowing this systemic fraud within our election system. Maryland was one of the states seeing what was polling machine tampering where votes would flip to our neo-liberal candidate and/or write-ins were completely deleted. This happened in a neo-liberal state but it is likely to have happened in Republican states in their favor. The point is fraud is entering our political process in an alarming way. Remember, if we have Clinton neo-liberals who embrace lying, cheating, and stealing to win at all cost------why would that not extend to voting? REALLY???? This is of course what happens in third world nations having elections.
Think about the agencies tasked with assuring free and fair elections. My campaign for Governor has already gone to court suing Maryland Board of Elections and organizations like Maryland League of Women Voters with allowing open election violations to fill the Democratic primary election. Now, we have this same Board of Elections allowing what was widespread voting machine fraud. Their job is testing and guaranteeing these machines work and you would not have failures happening across the state all at once.
Then, there is Baltimore Board of Estimates overseeing polling fraud where official polling staff would deliberately take polling machines off-line during peak hours leaving one machine out of 5 working while voter lines grew longer and longer. This was deliberate as well. I spoke of my own experience in my voting precinct where I had the forethought to challenge this machine failure and stated that it was contributing to voter discouragement. The minute I made that public-----all machines were brought back online. The poll staff were shouting 'She knows----she knows'. This condition happened in several voting precincts in Baltimore. So, again, it is the Board of Elections not only ignoring election violations but participating in these violations with polling staff onsite on election day. People ask-----how can you even believe the election totals given when the process is so corrupt? You cannot. We in Maryland and Baltimore have demanded a hand recount with citizens available for witnessing the count and looking at these ballots for signs of alteration.
THIS IS WHY LESS THAN 20% OF PEOPLE COME TO THE POLLS----THE ENTIRE PROCESS IS CAPTURED AND CORRUPT AND GOOD LABOR AND JUSTICE CANDIDATES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN PRIMARY ELECTIONS.
Montgomery County polling place problems and low voter turnout for Maryland primary election
By John Gonzalez June 24, 2014 - 12:35 pm
BETHESDA, Md. (WJLA) - In Maryland there were eight days of early voting leading up to Tuesday, primary day - just one reason why Board of Election officials are not expecting a large voter turnout.
Numbers show some 141,000 votes were cast already over the past week, which is about 4 percent of all eligible voters in the state.
In Montgomery County, by noon, there were plenty of problems, especially with the electronic poll books - the computers that check people in as they vote.
At the Bethesda Library, 15 to 20 percent of voters before noon were not able to check in electronically.
At Westland Middle School in Bethesda, voters were also having to check in manually using pen and paper - and even once checked in, it appeared some voters were having other issues with the actual voting booths.
The Chief Judge said after having a countywide conference call at 11 a.m., the broken machines will be replaced today.
At Westland, voting has been scarce - under 200 by noon, when they were projecting over 500.
One board member told ABC7 when you have nice weather and a midterm election, voter turnout is usually very low.

This video shows the election contest of Bush vs Gore where widespread election fraud was detected in voting machines. You notice that in this video the specialist says that you need to see the computer codes to know if machines are rigged and when a citizen in Maryland requested to see these election codes she was told no access to these codes would be given to the public. What we need are the paper ballots to hand count individually. The point here is-----
WE NEED TO GO BACK TO PAPER BALLOTS AND HAVE THE PUBLIC ENGAGED IN COUNTING THESE RESULTS.

It's important to know that Marylanders do not feel there were only dozens of cases of polling irregularities. There are many unanswered questions about vote totals that do not add up. We need to have a complete audit of the system regardless of what the official word is-----we know the officials at Maryland Board of Elections are in court for allowing systemic election irregularities in the primary elections. This is not simply a Democratic controlled state pulling a fast one on Republicans----this happens across the country with parties in control regardless of category.
Early-voting cloud hangs over Maryland election
By: Kenric Ward

As Marylanders head to the polls Tuesday, questions linger over early-voting glitches that could affect the election’s outcome.
After reporting that voting machines had flipped Republican votes to Democrats in several counties, Watchdog.org learned Monday that some of the units were not taken out of service.
Kerri Lastner, who helped her elderly mother vote on Oct. 26, said a voting machine in Baltimore County flipped candidate choices four times before finally accepting the Republican votes.
Lastner informed the Catonsville, Md., poll workers, and got what she called a “dismissive” response.
Lastner said she was told the machines would be “checked out,” but she could not confirm that any action was taken.
Nikki Charlson, deputy administrator for the Maryland State Board of Elections, did not include Baltimore County in the rundown of areas that had experienced machine problems.
“Here’s a voter who knew the risk (of machine error). She did the right thing and reported the problem. She got nothing but an eye roll (from poll officials),” said Logan Churchwell, spokesman for True the Vote, a national, nonpartisan election-watch group.
The Republican Party called for an investigation into the early-voting glitches. The election board said workers could not replicate the reported problems on machines they tested.
Nevertheless, the SBE set up a special hotline eight days into the early-voting period and shared information about True the Vote’s new “VoteStand” app.
Staffers for GOP gubernatorial candidate Larry Hogan said they received more than 50 reports of machines flipping votes during early voting. Charlson said the figure reported to her office was less than half that.
Charlson said all votes — including those from malfunctioning machines — would be counted.
“Election officials need to take these reports seriously and immediately check any machine with such reported problems to make sure it has been properly tested and calibrated,” said Hans von Spakovsky, a former member of the Federal Election Commission and a manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative and senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation.
In a statement issued a day after Lastner’s encounter, the state Election Board said it receives “similar reports in every election, and errors are almost always shown to be caused by inadvertent voter error.”
The board advised:
“Any voter who believes that a voting machine does not accurately reflect the choice the voter intended to make should alert a voting official before casting their ballot so that the problem can be remedied.”
SBE added: “If a vote flip is reported, a judge must watch the next five voters on that machine. If a second flip occurs, then the machine is to be pulled out of service.”
Von Spakovsky still has questions, which remain unanswered Tuesday:
“I would like to know what Maryland’s testing procedures are on all (machines) prior to voting starting,” he said. “What exactly do they do, and do their procedures meet best practices standards?”

This is a great article that speaks to what has happened with American politics. Clinton took the Democratic Party and handed it to Wall Street making both parties working for the same goals----all they needed to do is pretend to be fighting against a few social issues. We simply need the Democratic voters to re-engage in politics----get out and flood the State and local Democratic Committees and watch these elections----do not allow election rigging to become a given as it is in Maryland.
I ask Democratic voters to read the Leo Strauss philosophy of politics-----Strauss was employed by Obama's University of Chicago and Obama was connected to this group. This is why it is so easy for Obama and other neo-liberals to say one thing and do another. Clinton ran as a progressive liberal and then gave us Wall Street on steroids and NAFTA and free trade global markets knowing it would kill labor, justice, and democracy in America and create huge wealth inequity----Clinton lied and then did what he wanted. 'THE REPUBLICANS MADE HIM DO IT we hear for Clinton and Obama.
LOOK AT WHO THEY APPOINT FOR GOODNESS SAKE---
'Give the people a choice between a Republican and a Democrat who talks like a Republican and they'll choose the Republican every time'.

Rigged Elections elite selection of candidates:
control of the US is too valuable for elites to let voters decide
The most important way that elections in the US are rigged is not voter disenfranchisement, touch screen voting machines or tampered software in ballot scanners, but media manipulation of public consciousness about the candidates. There's also the differences between the ostensible level of politics (the three branches of co-equal government and the other nonsense taught to us in school), and the "deep politics" of how the military industrial intelligence complex really works. It's good to focus on some of the mechanics of manipulating ballot counting, but the deeper problems are much more entrenched and would take a societal wide consciousness shift to address.
The 2008 "election" was a choice between the Rockefeller Republicans and the neo-cons, between the Council on Foreign Relations (Biden) and the American Enterprise Institute (McCain), between the old guard of foreign policy and the crazies. We need better choices than that if we are going to be able to use some of the rest of the oil for relocalization, renewable energy and "power down" strategies to mitigate the end of the age of oil.
Lucy's football -- Bush Clinton Bush Obama: good cop, bad cop I’m not disappointed in the Obama - Biden administration.
They promised to oppose Single Payer health care, and they are against it now. They promised to expand the wars on Afghanistan and Pakistan, and those conflicts are now getting worse.
No one should be surprised that the new administration supports Bush era policies on rendition, warrantless wiretapping, increased military spending, corporate welfare for Wall Street, highway expansion, and official silence about Peak Oil.
It is encouraging that some Obama voters wonder why their team is “regime rotation” instead of regime change.
Our political system has been on autopilot for decades, especially since November 22, 1963 when President Kennedy was removed from office for wanting to stop the Cold War. The failure of our political system to address that crime is why the Democrats will not change imperial policies.
The Democrats and the Republicans are like two sides of a Mobius Strip -- it looks like two sides, but they are on the same side. The “elections” resemble televised wrestling - it looks like a bruising contest, but they are fake, rigged in advance. Good cop, bad cop.
Sarah Palin was put on McCain’s ticket to ensure that he would lose, since Wall Street wanted the Democrats this time.
I voted for Cynthia McKinney for President. While in Congress, she stood up to Bush on the deepest issues, and both parties joined forces to defeat her.
Kerry won in 2004:
Colorado, Florida, Iowa, New Mexico, Nevada and Ohio.
Bush won because he ran against Kerry. If he ran unopposed he would have lost.
-- Mort Sahl
The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can "throw the rascals out" at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.

The real owners are the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians, they’re an irrelevancy. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the statehouses, the city halls. They’ve got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies, so that they control just about all of the news and information you hear. They’ve got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying - lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want; they want more for themselves and less for everybody else.
But I’ll tell you what they don’t want. They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around the kitchen table and figure out how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago. You know what they want? Obedient workers - people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork but just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, reduced benefits, the end of overtime and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it. And, now, they’re coming for your Social Security. They want your fucking retirement money. They want it back, so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They’ll get it. They’ll get it all, sooner or later, because they own this fucking place. It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it. You and I are not in the big club.

In Maryland the political machines of pols that have been in office for sometimes 25 years have complete control of the Democratic committees and in Maryland that makes those committees pushing for neo-liberals and neo-cons. If a labor and justice candidate even thinks of running in statewide elections-----they are censured---their names do not appear in media, in forums, and even on the Maryland Democratic Party webpages. Primary elections see open election violation by 501c3 and FCC media acting as though they can 'select' candidates to forums and debates when the laws clearly say this is not to happen. So, For those 80% of Democrats who don't vote because there is no candidate you want----this is why. DO NOT ALLOW THESE GLOBAL CORPORATE POLS TO CONTROL OUR STATE AND LOCAL DEMOCRATIC COMMITTEES! PUT ON YOUR BOXING GLOVES!
Are U.S. elections rigged? More Americans than ever say yes
Mon, 07/14/2014 - 8:15amChad Merda
More and more Americans are saying they think elections are unfair and rigged in favor of incumbents, a new Rasmussen Reports poll shows.
The national poll shows that nearly half of Americans (48 percent) say elections aren't fair, which is the highest amount since 2004 when the poll began.
Where does the unfairness come into play? Of those polled, 68 percent said members of Congress get re-elected because the election process is rigged to benefit incumbents. Only 9 percent said they believe members of Congress win another term because they've done a good job. Nearly a quarter (23 percent) are unsure.
More on the poll from Rasmussen:
The Declaration of Independence says that governments derive their authority from the consent of the governed, but just 19% of voters think the federal government today actually has that consent. Sixty-two percent (62%) do not think the federal government has the consent of the governed, while 19% are undecided. This is consistent with surveying for the past four years.
In the most pessimistic finding yet, only 7 percent of those polled said the average representative in Congress listens to the voters the most. On the other hand, 83 percent said they believe their Congressional representatives listen to party leaders more than the voters they represent.
